This is easy to use, perfect for beginner runners. Encouraging, positive messages to keep you going. Great training schedule, easy to stick to. Start now and you will be running 5k by the summer.
Folks: this thing WORKS. I used to get sore and out of breath after two minutes of running, and my previous attemps at interval training had resulted in injuries and guilt. Now I cant wait for my next 30mn run in hilly woods! This is extremely simple, no fancy stats, no macho buttons-and-dials screens, just a quiet, friendly voice (with a delightful British accent) telling you when to walk and when to run. It wont do the thinking for you if you miss a couple of sessions or if you need to take it easier, but its excellent at what it does: talking you through a progressive, beginner-friendly, guilt-free training program. (The internet links have also been quite helpful.)
I always wanted to run, but as I have asthma it has never been easy. Using this app I feel more motivated and I can see that I am capable of running
Got me from the couch to 30 minutes of running within 9 weeks. Provides just that little extra bit of motivation you may need. Better Music and GPS integration would be nice.

I have started 4-5 weeks ago and find it very helpful to get guidance. You can also listen to your favorite music and then the guidance just comes along. I am happy about the quick progress I make with that app. I can absolutely recommend this to start running.

Some bad moments

8 weeks ago, I went for my first run with this app. 25 runs later, I have not missed a single run day, last for 30 minutes sans walking and am absolutely overjoyed. Pluses: - achievable bites which truly will lead you to 30 uninterrupted minutes after 8 weeks. - reliable performance, no missed prompters, no clashes with music or audiobooks. - free Cons: None whatsoever. If, like me, you have been inactive for many more years than you care to remember but want to get (back) in shape, this app is for you. I can’t sing its praises loudly enough!
